So, starting several game years before the end, I had been trying to communicate that I would accept the draw if you would eliminate England, but Germany kept building fleets for some reason, and so could not take StP.

What do you mean it was rigged? We were enemies for almost all the game.


France, did you give up at the end because you didn't want to keep playing or because you knew Germany was going to stab you?


And Germany, WTF? Why did you stab France when you had an excellent stalemate position?

I'm glad I was able to support Norway, but why france...WHY...did you allow turkey to finally pull off that win. I'm proud of the way I played today, no doubt...not sure why I built so many fleets...that's the honest truth.

I must say, I still do not understand why you let me win at the end there, AFTER you saw my retreat orders.

i didn't have enough to counter and move towards you and france at the same time...and I didn't understand why you pulled back. as you note I'm not that experienced. I thought it was extremely bizarre as well...i was saying "WTF is goin on?" haha.

I was also indicating that I wouldn't accept a draw with England in it, but Germany was indicating that s/he would take enough centers that I couldn't hold the line, even after I clearly displayed that I had the line. I wasn't going to draw with a weirdly experienced/total newb(?) Germany protecting a player with 1 center than can be easily taken.

I was hoping that Germany would move forward into the space I had opened, notice StP was not defended, and take it, and I was going to vote for the draw the following Spring. I was sort of puzzled, though: France's votes line was blank; the draw vote had been withdrawn several years earlier.

I withdrew my draw vote one Germany supported England back into London. If he wanted me to ally at the end, he can't be helping my enemy at the same time. It was a gg all, though, I had fun.

If I had known that I would have done it for sure...but france gave up so easily that the Draw wouldn't have mattered that year. Also...if i moved my fleet from the baltic that would have been fairly enticing to move right back with enough time to remove either St. P or Berlin...so I played it safely.

Why on earth, then, did you build an army at Kiel? You had more than enough units to defend Munich (there were at least two redundant armies sitting there, not useful in any possible attack I could have ordered) but you needed a fleet.

Also, I'm pretty sure I couldn't have taken Berlin with accurate defence.

I gave up because you had 4 years to eliminate england, and you made move at all to do it. If you took one more of my centers, I wouldn't have had enough to hold off Turkey. until you took London, I had enough centers and was holding him off. Then you kept moving on me and I decided to spped to game up. FYI, you only need one support on Berlin if there are only two enemy unit next to it. The support from the Baltic Sea was unnecessary until you started attacking me.

Well, good game and well played, France especially, but the rest of you too. I'm logging off now; stab you later.

(and lol) I just relized England just resigned from that game. I could have held that stalemate line and gotten my draw! Damn my stubborness.

Yeah, that really annoyed me. I'm really tired and I thought "well, Russia just needs to support my hold". So I had a look at another game and made a cup of tea. And then the game end because France was a noob and I get a stupid resign on my record.

Heh, heh, I prefer to think of my play as pricipled. But my throwing the game had nothing to with you not logging in for 2 consecutive turn and getting a resign.

I don't understand why you kept attacking me. I didn't attack you once. But you were intent on getting rid of me rather than protecting yourself against the solo. Strange and moronic.

I had the units for the solo even while I was attacking you. I had a the MAO sealed up, until Germany decided to take your side. See the year before the end of the game, perfect stalemate line.
