You can't vote more than once unless you vote on more than one device. You could ask for our webDip usernames in the survey as well.

Agreed, spyman, but it's possible, unfortunately. The surveys I do in public settings (not often anymore but used to be) involve some sort of identification.

What sort of level of approval would be required for a return? Clearly there will be no unanimous decision. Will a simple majority do, or something significantly more demanding?

Personally I would be in favour of giving the votes of victims of Agent K more weight, if they're still around and it's possible to make them aware.

When will the survey window close?

Assuming you are using Windows, there is probably an "X" in the upper right corner...you move your cursor over that and click, and the window will go away.

I'm sure it is similar in most browsers/ops systems.

@zultar: Hate to be a party pooper, but anyone can vote on this survey, so how will you know whether the people who voted were from this site? Didn't vote more than once? Weren't actually Agent K and his multi's trying to get himself/themselves allowed back on the site?

You can just use the (+1) feature of this site for such a simple poll.

Those who know how to clear their cookies and have no scruples about voting more than once will appear to have louder voices in this poll.

+1s in the forum is probably a more accurate way to do it.

Also, the Czech had a legitimate question, above, and krellin's reply got +3 as of now. I assumed krellin was being snarky, but it's possible, I suppose, that he misunderstood. I presume The Czech was asking about how long we have to vote before the survey itself (not the browser window it runs in) is closed.

I actually was baiting people to take the survey more than once. After a bit of playing around with surveymonkey, I found out that surveymonkey includes IP information. I can easily see which IP voted once and which voted more than once. So please rest assured, the survey will remain valid.

Also, I usually do forum survey, but (a) I thought I would try out something different and (b) so people, like ghug :), don't complain about me getting +1s since I have a higher ratio.

So, I am going to share the IP data with other mods so they can verify the authenticity of the result. If need be, we will do another forum vote.

Maybe this is just me, but it would really piss me off if someone here would vote more than once. Cheating is cheating. If you would do it on a survey....

I voted no. Given that he has shown in the past he has no scruples, I think it would be foolish to let him rejoin.

I voted no, but I don't think it's a good way to conduct a survey. As others have mentioned, there are a lot of ways that it can be abused.

A better method of survey would be to have members email with a specific subject line, no?

I'm sure the mods have the ability to send out a mass email to all of us. Just send out the question and whether they vote yes or no and have us all reply. Give the link to the possible reinstatement thread so that everyone that hasn't followed it can be as informed as possible. Simple.
