I would've thought that 'mute' would spoil the aim of diplomacy. If he's annoying everyone, shouldn't you use this as a reason to ally against him? A defeated nation cannot speak...

Sounds to me like a prime candidate for an early take out - talk to the other players privately and work up some diplomacy!

unfortunatly, he'll still be able to post even after being eliminated, but maybe he won't bother out of lack of interest for that game

Being a player in the game in question, I have to say that we are hearing only half of the story here (and, one might say, even less than half). But I guess BESM will defend himself here if he thinks it's appropriate to do so.

I willonly say that Mr. Vart 16 is certainly welcome to his opinion which, since he is losing,might be suspect. It is also interesting that he writes about my insults about another player who may, in fact, be him playing two losing positions. How would one check?

Personally I avoid players like BESM, whenever I find out about them (unfortunately I've had the experience with this particular player - the game ended very prematurely simply because the players got sick of the verbal fisticuffs being thrown around)

Strange. I'm playing a game with BESM rigt now. Don't think I've played him previously. He's been nice as can be, pleasant, chatty. Even when I stabbed him, he remained pleasant, which many players find difficult. Kept negotiating even as I took his SCs. And all this occurred before this thread started.

Yea, I've played 1-2 games with BESM and I thought he was very nice.

Despite my desire to throttle him in a previous game, in my experience nothing BESM has done approaches the threshold of abuse. If you want to ignore him, do so, but you shouldn't need an IRC-like command to do so
