Support moves are always "to" first and then "from" second while convoys are "from" first and "to" second.

Non-sword jokes
On no particular topic. This first list I'm posting is mostly from Wanda the Fish (I think some might be from Jyte or things I've heard, but mostly not).

very fast game
A 1 hour turn around game - very quick, but it only 5 points in so it doesn't matter if you miss a turn or two.

Let's get this started. Experienced players and newbies welcomed. Why play for only 5 points when it's more fun with 50 on the line?

Need a Mod - Bug with Unit Placement
In the game http://www.phpdiplomacy.net/board.php?gameID=7581 I'm Russia and I took both Con and Smyrna from Turkey. But because of a bug somehow Turkey was able to retreat each of the units in those spots into the other spot which destroyed my unit but still gave me control of the Area. At first I thought it was a graphical bug bu Turkey had to disband one of the units in question and now has a unit where he shouldn't.

What about the best city you have ever been to?
Either Geneva or Zürich; both are in Switzerland.

Venice. I don't count Barcelona, as I live in it.

I liked it :D

Just because you liked it? Well, someone was asked for justifications in the last thread, and someone gave different results for different categories.

Safest: Geneva.
Funnest: Zürich.
Cleanest: Arlington, VA, but I live there.
Friendly inhabitants: Can't decide.
Good management: Also undecided.

Can't think of any other categories right now. Ideas?

Zagreb - the perfect blend between the east and the west; the nicest city to live in Europe for me, and I am not from Croatia.

Agree about Venice - it is just so unique and different. You either love it or hate it. It caught me off-guard; was there in a hurry and didn't expect much. Being on open sea, it is the most open city, literally. It is difficult to hide anything, even from yourself. Guess that's why they have to make and wear those elaborate masks from time to time :)

I was having dinner. I liked it because of the way it looked. Channels, small streets. It was like a smallish town, not a big city, and everywhere something wonderful to see. I don't have anything good (or bad) to say of the food.

not a single Mexican city / Town?

For excessive, stayup all-night partying on a beach with lots of girls in bikinis drinking redbull and vodka: Rockypoint (Puerta Penasca, officially)

For a more relaxed, lots of fun stuff to do, but still plenty of partying on the beach with lots of girls in bikinis drinking margaritas: Cabo San Lucas

And seriously - on the partying note - Las Vegas, anyone?

<thinks to self>"I might have a drinking problem"

Ilisted both Cozumel and Cancun, Philcore. They're in Mexico. But honestly, the Bavarian people (Munich, Friedrichshofen, Lindau, etc.) era some of the friendliest in the world.

ah, yes you did - Sorry I missed that.

I hear the bier in Bayern is incredible too! I will definitely make it there some day. In fact another thread about the places you'd LIKE to go for me would include - countries, not cities:
Germany, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand

Melbourne is a pretty cool city, but since I live in Melbourne I'll say Berlin is my favourite. I'd like to live there. Madrid close second.

Unit-Placing Speed-Up
Why do countries with 0 SCs left have to enter moves to disband? People rarely do it and the game takes another day or however long...

Also, when a unit has no choice to disband, why must orders be entered?
