How much of ridiculous nanny state do you Europeans have? Even if you're paranoid enough to think that Edi did something out of line, and he didn't, he certainly didn't do anything criminal.

I haven't actually been here long enough to have any contact with Edi, other than some forum posts i have read. However, judging by the amount of posts which were in Edi's favour, i would suggest to you, diplomat, that you quietly remove yourself from the thread at least, so as to avoid losing more face. Even fewer people actually agree with you, most of them stating that asking for phone numbers and names can just be denied, ignored, or a plethora of other options. crying out to the forums for help (most of them, like myself, cannot actually do much to help you) is very far down the list. email a moderator, asking his advice. We have even gotten Edi into the thread, who has much more evidence supporting his side of the arguement, which was that he meant no harm by these personal questions. You, on the other hand, have replied to other's insults, ignoring the various constructive posts in 155 posts completely. take some time to provide a well thought arguement against Edi, and he might just get banned. I doubt it, trusting the huge amount of opinion in Edi's favour, but it might happen that he was actually attempting to abduct you, rape you, murder you, ransom you, or anything else. I do think you might have reasons to be worried, but only if Edi had been insistent on aquiring personal info, and Edi seems like the kind of person who would stop if asked. This thread is a good way to bring attention to the issue, and i hope you will think, maybe just for 10 or 20 seconds, about ever declaring a "crime" of this magnitude on an online game which, if worst come to worst, can just be stepped away from, deleted from bookmarks until you feel that you are safe.

In shorter form, since you don't seem to read paragraphs, stop being a melodramatic queen and google internet safety tips. It'll probably give you almost the same as you got here, and since google knows everything...

I like both of you and don't want to see you go - but personally, anytime I'm given an ultimatum that sounds a little like blackmail - even if the person giving the ultimatum is trying to force me to do what we both know is the better of the two options, the fact that I feel forced makes me always chose the side that wasn't forced.

Hopefully Kestas and the Mods feel the same way and won't simply ban Diplofool for fear of losing you two. And if you keep your word and bail on the site - you'll be missed, but it was your own chosing.
