The bible is confusing... but thankfully this forum is frequented by many expert theologists who I'm sure can help me here. This is not a troll thread, I have an honest question on a matter which genuinely confuses me.
Currently working on my EoG. The short version is that this game is a textbook example of how an unbelievably good start can get completely shut down by guessing wrong many, many times.
So I just finished up my last active game and am looking to start another. I am recruiting players but reserve the right to exclude and pick and choose who they are.
Anon or not is up for grabs. Buy in is 170 and the game will be WTA full press. Chime in if your interested and anon versus non preference or requirements.

I'm interested, as long as the game starts on Wednesday 29th or later. That's when I finish my Uni exams for this year :) 170 is the vast majority of my points. But who cares about points. I'm looking for a good game. In terms of Anon or not, I'm not really fussed. If you want somebody with more games and experience that's fine too. But I promise I'm active and I have never had a NMR or CD since my first ever game on this site 2 years ago.

Sure. I don't know if this will make you trust me more or less =). 3 are from before I knew how a CD affected gameplay. In these games, I still played out until the end, but if I went on a trip or anything I was not careful to get someone to sit my account. I know better than that now, and will not CD from this. 2 come from when I was temporarily banned from this site. The Mods suspected that I was cheating, and the banhammer came down. I appealed the descision and after taking a second look they let me back on the site (NOTE: I was NOT cheating.) Even though my name was cleared, in 2 of the games I was in before I was banned, I got a resign.
That's fine Draug, I understand. I intend to play a few games over the summer, hopefully then I will gain some reputation and be able to pose more of a threat :) Until then. I'm still a noob. I know that. :P
I want to give it through the end of the day before makong my decision on the final 7 but everyone, including yaks, is acceptable to me. Does anyone here have a complaint so far about anyone else? I want it to be fun but competitive. No care bears please. Play hard and try to win.
This is toastbears.com. Toastin' a bear is no very easy, No jist cos o' the size, or the fur, or the fact ye had tae batter the bugger tae death. Jist difficult.
My preference is 48 hours. That way if I'm away for a weekend somewhere I still have time to enter moves. With 36 hours, it would be a bit more difficult to do so.
8 names and 7 seats is always uncomfortable. As an impartial observer I offer my services in throwing an 8-sided die to randomly select one of the candidates to sit on the subs bench in case of CD. It seems the only fair way.
I will male the game tomorrow at linch and send.invites to all candidates. The first 6 in get to try and take down the great Draugnar. :-) Look for invite with password around noon eastern.

After hearing I got accepted for the position, I find two omens 1) Our rose bush bloomed a dozen roses. Never has this bush given us more than one flower since we moved in years ago 2) I find the first ever dead rotting bird in our yard. How do I read this??
I've got just one world game on the go, 3 day phases, full press. I'm away from Thursday 30th to Monday 10th June. Would anybody care to stop this CD'ing? Not too concerned about winning.

Russia and Turkey both left the game and Austria is expanding quickly. I feel in a Winner Takes All match, it is unfair for a player to win because the biggest contenders to a country left. It is like Germany and France leaving with a player as England. Turkey and Russia both have 3 SCs.
