One thing I've always wondered: you're not allowed to post cheating accusations, and implications someone is cheating are not allowed either...
So, if you accuse someone of posting cheating accusations, doesn't that mean you are posting cheating accusations as well? After all, "don't post cheating accusations", like people always say in such a case, does imply you are posting cheating accusations...

Steephie - It's a language thing. To cheat requires one to be doing it in a game. Breaking site rules is not cheating unless it is breaking a rule in a game (like getting around press or illegal metagaming/multigaming). Posting a cheating accusation is not cheating, but merely breaking a site rule just as having multiple accounts who never play together isn't cheating but is still breaking a site rule.

redhouse1938 (userID=37223), please do not encourage other people to post cheating accusations in the forum (even jokingly), as you know this is against site rules.

I think two of the key prerequisites are that you have respect for the integrity of the site and that you seem to consistently spend a lot of time on here.
Your own style and method of dispensing justice is a separate issue and a personal thing, as long as you get the big decisions right I'm sure Users will give you some leeway on the delivery. Judge Dread had some questionable MO but he got the job done, site Moderation is a results business, not a vicars tea party.....

Yeah steephie, Ze, and Hir are two of the more common gender neutral pronouns. I'm not sure if they are officially recognized words though, Sie is another one. Don't ask me how they are used in a sentence, I have no idea, lol.

Well all those gender neutral pronouns are, as far as i know, neologisms and not incorporated in standart english, right?
Also i would use it in situations where you meet someone and just don't know what hir is. You know, those a boy that looked like a girl that looked like a boy situations. But then it probably be offensive and another -ism.

Hm, there are people who rally for a "lookism," but that's generally about whether the person is attractive or not. I don't think you could judge that based on being mistaken for another gender. As far as that goes, I know people who actively try to cultivate the "gender amibguous" look and yet are still bothered by people not knowing their gender.

I am quite sure of where I stand on my skill. I would be impartial, but I would knee jerk piss people off. The mods get enough heat for some of their responses, they don't need even more because I was one of them and pissing people off left and right. This is where I vent because I *can't* vent to my clients and I *won't* vent to my family. And I like to vent. Boy do I like to vent.

I see the Mods trying to be as reasonable and fair as they can now and people still go nuts whole hazel nuts at things they say and do. If Mother Theresa was a Mod I'm sure she'd come in for some severe criticism (if she wasn't dead). It might just be that people have unrealistic expectations of what Mods should do and be.....
...... I'm not convinced you could cause much more controversy than there already is with the Mods. Anyway I won't go on like that hungry troll Alderian.
