Why does the United States still use the electoral college?

I feel it is outdated and unrepresentative. The millions of us who are political minorities within our states that are statistically impossible to swing are essentially left out of the entire election as much as foreigners are left out. This is undemocratic and unjust, is it not? If not, why not?

I do everything to show the jerk that we should move against Russia and draw the mess, but no. He expects to win with his 5 SCs. Or to get a three-way draw, maybe? Anyway, he puts up "Draw", then takes it down, then puts up "Cancel", then takes it down, then puts up a final "Draw" when Italy, who is as pissed as I am, comes knocking at Marseilles.

Yeah, and make everybody lose the game, including yourself. Why do you think curtis pressed "Draw"? Because of Barn3tt, of course, but also because of those pesky German fleets up north. He knew he couldn't hold us both.

I thought France had a pretty good shot at being successful once Russia started getting beat up down under. I thought it was looking like a whole new game once Russia lost the mo. I almost took off the draw, but didn't ...... cos I was scared :(

Are we talking about the same game? Russia was going to take London and Portugal, Italy was about to take Marseilles. France was trying to fatten up at the expense of the only guy who could save him from defeat and force a draw. Noob.

good game everyone. you definitely had me on the retreat. I wanted to wait one more turn too before drawing, but I wasn't sure that Italy would recognize that we would have to work on turkey after the turn instead of me.

@ curtis: I was attacking Budapest that turn too. Doubt I would have taken it, but it would have given you the signal. Like I said, total chaos. I was going to get nearly everyone mad at me.

@Z : yes France was pretty f*cked there at the end, but like he said, if he hadn't had those missed moves, things might have been different.
