Advice: Be sure to not piss dumbdell off by attacking him in anyway, announced or unannounced, else he will help somebody solo.. whatever you say or do (ref: gameID=73400 ) Just some friendly advice ;)

And dumbdell is always always Italy, don't forget that.

MrcsAurelius: I've done that. I've helped someone solo to prevent elimination in a 3-way draw. It isn't he most pleasant tactic, but when you are facing elimination, you pull out all the stops to stay in the game. I could have stopped the solo attempt, but the other two opponents had no interest in helping me become part of the draw.

The thing with bluffs? You sometimes have to do the thing you bluff about to show you mean business...

I'm ok with your game options. I'd also like to say to everyone playing: We'll have a EoG discussion and everyone needs to participate, so if you get eliminated early, write notes or something, k?

@fortknox: yeah, fk, that is true, there are some instances where one could assist a solo in wta imo. As a last resort to score a survive is probably one of the few. In the game I referenced that wasn't the case. All powers involved in stopping the solo promised to include dumbdell in the draw multiple times and he had enough sc's and position to put those promises to the test and still help the solo if that would've been necessary.. which it wouldn't have been. He is the most vindictive and stubborn player I have come across on this website. Truly amazing style, not one I care for very much. Have fun playing this game guys!

Sorry guys. I check out the forum like once or maybe twice a day. Whenever I come back the thread is three pages back and I just say "Screw. I said my piece" most the time. I wish I had double checked on this one.

@bolshoi: I was saying he should cede Tunis back to gooble. It builds trust and if done right good have helped changed his negotiating position in the North. I am typically in favor of hitting a country hard and quick. It seems to work better to do that than to fight a drawn out war in terms of press. It works especially well when knocking a medium sized power (5-7) to a small power (3-4). The sudden hit establishes dominance over the party while minimizing bad blood. It's like a diplomatic bitch slap.

I can't tell if the game is full or not. If it isnt, count me in.

Gobbledygook, I'm having exactly the same problem every night. I start off really well and then I get trashed, then the woman says she's going home so I end up playing Diplomacy alone. Surely there is a woman out there that respects a geek of a man with a drink problem who suffers from erectile dysfunction and wants to take her home and give her a few good supply centres ....... advice please, I'm desperate !!

if you have erectile dysfunction what's the problem with her going home? and how did you plan on giving her a supply of anything with your condition? were those supplies of snuggles?

i don't know about this whole ed thing. maybe you just aren't as into sex as other people. so what's wrong with that? society might ridicule you, big deal. imagine if everyone in society went on rollercoasters. so other people were always smiling when it was there turn. but everytime you go you can't bring yourself to smile. are you going to think you have smiling dysfunction or that you just aren't that into roller coasters.
