3 more people gives us 2 boards and sets the buy-in at $10 and allows for top 3 placing awards and best country awards and a $60 donation to the site.

3 full boards allows me to let players vote on a best stab award and bumps site donations over $100.

There are a lot of talented players out there that I'd have expected to see sign up. We have some great names and new faces already signed up. Keep it coming.

Those who haven't signed up: could you tell us why? Don't want to spend money? Too much money? Don't like the set up?

two more questions: when will it start? and one game per round, i assume? maybe that's been discussed, but i missed it.

I haven't signed up as of yet because the tournaments I've participated in the past seem to take a long time to conclude. Also, I suck at full press games. I am apparently unconvincing in my dialog. Still, I'm willing to pay to play. Count me in, I prefer anon.

Too many multis, metas and cheats in anon games. I know this is a tournament so the admins would be more attentive, but I'm not putting real money down in an anon game. I wouldn't do it in a named game either for meta concerns.

Sorry, I've not been paying attention to this thread. What sort of time commitment are we looking at here? How many games, and simultaneous or at least partially consecutive?

Oh, and what is this plaque thing all about? Does it get hung in the Webdip Hall of Fame (aka tru ninja's downstairs loo) or is an effort made to post them to the winners so that they can fully enjoy the pride in owning a quality beer mat?

I think you'll find the answers to most of those questions earlier in the thread, Octavious.

@Jeff, the number of multis, metas, and cheats have been cut down significantly recently. Also, since this is a site-sponsored tournament, we will vet the participants as much as we can, and we have gotten pretty darn good at finding cheaters, so I wouldn't worry about that.

In fact, if there are successful "veteran" cheaters around, please let us know so we can find out why we didn't find you. :)
