Check this blighter out on Youtube, & his pals Samuel & Caleb Corneloup
The Corneloups just got trounced by civil authority in the High Court of Australia
unlike those wacky Westborough (?) Baptist blighters we are not going to be harangued in public places by any religious extremists-- it's a lengthy and complex judgement, a brief summary would be -- any person or group can go to a public place and amongst themselves engage in a religious activity, and government cannot interfere,
but as soon as a group carrying out a religious activity in a public place engage with, and / or solicit the public then government can intervene, typically the Local Council who can treat them as they would a busker and control with licensing their activities.
Most religious groups carry out their activities at their places of worship, churches, mosques etc they advertise their activities and any interested person(s) can go along and make enquiries, join up etc.
These jokers seem to need to attract public attention and controversy, they preach an ultra conservative absolutist dogma/theology.
All behaviours have meaning and can be understood, and with that in mind I have been observing their behaviours and the behaviours of the public in response.
They often carry signs with "Hate" messages _- GOD HATES GAYS, GOD HATES GAMBLERS etc I was under the impression the Christian God is a LOVING GOD and the deity of hatred is the Devil.
My sentimental favourite deity is Shiva, a Hindu deity,
and for those having trouble with errant and neglectfull spouses I reccomend good old Hymen, Roman God of Marriage.
It's all a divine comedy, & there are reasons Forbes is picking on our little village.
I've had several civil conversations with the chap, his Daddy was a preacher chappy and worked in our village when Forbes was a young nipper, and apparently the local country bumpkins bullied young Forbes most cruelly when he was at school.
So it seems to me as though Forbes may have lot's of unresolved issues with the Catholic & Anglican churches, his Daddy and our village
So much for "forgiving those who tresspass against you" Forbes seems to have a substantial unrequited desire to inflict punishment on his former persecutors.
I suspect Forbes' and the Corneloups' path to spiritual enlightenment will be long and dificult, yet Forbes burns with zealous fervour and an extraordinary confidence that the Christian God speaks to and through his good self.
Personally speaking I think he should "get over the troubles of his formative years" & get on with his life ---
--maybe next time I see him I'll give him a spray of "More Ticker", as reccomended by the Drillers, it's a "toughening up" agent for whiny blighters
