SacredDigits: Yes, it is. I guess the question of whether it is or isn't in Iberia, though, technically depends on where you draw the line in the Pyrenees.

We have our first candidate. :-) Because Iberia participated in the last World Cup, we need to give preference to players who played last time. Of the four players in the Iberian team last time, two (Troodonte and I) have already signed up again. The other two players were StevenC. and Silver Wolf. But even if both of them sign up, because of a change in tournament rules, we still need a substitue. So we are looking for another 1-3 players. One of these could be Wardelicious.

Wardelicious: I see you haven't played a game on this site yet. Do you have any experience in playing Diplomacy? Also realize that this is going to be a huge commitment! The last World Cup lasted from late January 2010 until 27 February 2011.Obrigado. Eu sou Espanhol.

wardelicious, I don't think you understood what is going on here.
We were (re)creating an Iberian team to play in the webdiplomacy world cup... it is not an organized game of Iberians. So you shouldn't expect any game id...
JECE (our captain) said that he was expecting PM from you, that you didn't send, so it was decided that the 5th element of the team (the substitute that will play if any of the 4 players have some kind of problem) will be Alvar81.
So, sorry to tell you but you are not included in the team this time.
