There is no way to speak intelligently about Marxism because by design Marx purposefully created terms that completely misused language so he could make claims based on irrational thinking. I discount anything and everything ever written by Marx based on the empirical evidence of its results. I can not think of any ideology that has caused more death and destruction than Communism. Nazis pale in comparison. No where at any time has Marxism succeeded in any way whatsoever except to produce economic destruction and genocide. The Soviet Union, Communist, China, and Castro's Cuba all stand in horrific testimony to this irrefutable truth. This thread asked a simple question "Show me where maxism worked" and there has not been one example given.

As a matter of fact the central tenet of Marxism, the labor theory of value and the production of surplus value reliant upon it lost any shred of credibility when the work of Bohm-Bawerk demolished it. Marxism never recovered from this debacle except of course among irrational individuals who ignore empirical evidence or in delusion claim it doesn't exist.
The works of Solzhenitsyn, Conquest, Wurmbrandt and Rummel documented the real world mass deaths that resulted directly and irrefutably from Marxism. Any claim that there is no empirical evidence of the failure of Marxism simply emanates from a delusional individual.

How well has Capitalism 'succeeded' in the US, what measure are you using? How many 'needless' deaths can be attributed to the 'free market'?

How much lower is life expectancy in the US as compared with countries which have Universal health cover?

How many injuries/deaths were there in unsafe factories in the 1870?

How many early deaths or disabilities are caused by over-consumption? Obesity? Diabetes? Are these examples of the 'success' of capitalism in the US?

OR will you also claim that there was too much government intervention and so it's not true free market capitalism?

Does the massive federal farm subsidy not count as 'communism' - and if so is it an example of the success of that system?
