Democrats Hate Women?

There are a couple prominent Democrats in the news recently doing foul things towards women...and have been prominent Democrats in the past (4 examples to follow). The party line response? SILENCE. Funny, the White House openly speaks about all sorts of race issues...but on Sexual abuse by Democrats...silence. Do DEMOCRATS HATE WOMEN?

I unreservedly recommend Backstory, Skeptoid, Freakonomics, The Ancient World Podcast, and This American Life. Comedy Bang Bang!, Radiolab, and With Good Reason are all usually good but I end up skipping some of them.

If you're going on a long trip, though, and you are a fan of history (especially, obviously, ancient Rome), I strongly suggest The History of Rome by Mike Duncan (http://thehistoryofrome.typepad.com/). It's no longer producing, but there's 179 episodes making up I would guess close to 100 hours of fantastic storytelling.

This American Life is an absolute must. I really like WTF but I have to fast forward through his opening monologue and get to the interview. He's a great interviewer and has great guests so give it a chance even if him talking bothers you.

I also really enjoy Harmontown. It's Dan Harmon's podcast (creator of community). It's hilarious and nerdy. Not even the biggest community fan but the podcast is great.

Also, Good Job, Brain is a fun trivia podcast if that's your thing.

Drunk Jays Fans and Getting Blanked are two baseball podcasts I listen to.

Got through first two episodes of diplomacy cast, it's pretty interesting. Kind of beginner tour but they are just starting off highlighting a certain power and the alliances/ direction to take with it. Guest are the best part. Looking forward to the edi Birsan interview in episode 3!

Manslaughter

I didn't follow the Martin/Zimmerman case too closely (mostly because the media turned it into a politically-charged circus, as they do most everything they latch onto), and while the stand-your-ground law is plain stupid, he was not guilty of murder under the law. However, I don't understand why he wasn't guilty of manslaughter.
