Alright, quick explanation of what I did. I randomly switched everyone's position in the game, forced the player who needs replacing into CD and then added the replacement. I then reshuffled the countries back into their correct positions. So you will have a replacement notice in each game. Please understand that I shuffled the countries AFTER you got that notice so there is no way to determine which country the replacement player is playing.

Interestingly enough, the buy in bet moves with the shuffled positions, so that is also randomized and does not reflect the actual buy in bet. This is a bug, but very helpful in this situation. Everyone may have to re-enter orders this turn, please make sure to double check your orders before the turn goes through.

@ava, they were paused by the TD, I'm assuming to give the replacement time to look over the game and to enter orders or check orders already entered by his predecessor. Zultar has full control over pauses though, so I'll leave that to him.

@Gen. Lee, that's also up to the TD. I only helped Zultar shuffle the games on his request, as TD he has full control over that information.

Yeah,it's certainly one way to show how you respect the other six players in the game - "Hey mod,I'm away,pause the game and tell the other players they can go fuck themselves". The other way is to find a sitter and not to ruin the games.

This has been the case the whole way through the tournament. Players were told "reasonable pause requests" would be granted. Part of a reasonable request is to make it ahead of time.

I believe it was an oversight to not disclose the pause before/as it occurred, I apologize that it didn't.

I'm just saying. I was away for ten days and you have played 5/6 phases of the finals without a pause.That's one way how you can handle the game.If you want to.

This is the finals of the tournament. Presumably, not many sitters would be as good as you guys in filling in.
