I've always been a gunboat hater, and have never played one. However, I subbed for a Masters game recently, even though it's my time off still, and did a horrible job trying to care about a game I wasn't there to help set up in 1901. Anyway, I'd like to play with MM again in his invitational, but I just don't have the energy for a full press game.

The way I look at it, gunboat diplomacy is like a junk-food version of the game. Pretty fun, and easier to swallow, even if it doesn't take as much of a refined taste to appreciate.

I'll set up one game, so I'm looking for 6 rivals who post here, with preference given to those who have played with me before and would like to show me a thing or two about gunboat.

Full-press vs. gunboat flamewars are encouraged.
