I'm okay with not liking your explanation -- I played the game to this result as well, and we all had ample opportunities to try and play to a different one. I gave it a reasonable of a shot to try and create conditions for a 3-way, especially given that Italy showed interest, but I had my opportunities to avoid it as well and didn't take them (for example, I could have handed Italy three centers in southern France and that would have opened up play again, I wouldn't have risked being eliminated or anything like that, and I chose not to do so).
If you explanation is what I suspect it is, then think this is a better discussion for a post-round EoG than right now, but I'd say you're entitled to it and I assure you that I don't hold grudges for in-game play, no matter how frustrated it might make me while playing, beyond when the game ends (or, I suppose, in this case beyond when the tournament ends, since the games are linked rather than isolated). It's pretty hard, IMO, to be a Diplomacy player if you can't let a game go the moment it ends, just given the nature of the game.
