dirge -- the difference, is the the "gay sex scandal" was not Republicans assualting women...like Clinton the rapist or the San Diego mayor committing sexual assault. The "gay sex scandal" was men involved in consentual activity. I don't condone it...AND the Republican party *immediately* called for those men to quit their jobs and they were run out of office.

When a Democrat gets in a scandal, the circle and wagons and protect. There is *no wrong* a Democrat can do, apparently, that will convince the party leadership to throw them out.

Let's see...when a couple of white police officers arrested a black man on his door step because a nieghbor reported an attempted break in....Obama was immediately on TV denoucning the officers as "stupid"....when it was demonstrated that the cops were acting perfectly within established guidelines, and Obama was wrong, this resulted in the "Beer summit" when OBama decided to publicly smoke the peace pipe with the white officers. Anything slightly maybe almost racial (or if OBama *thinks8 he can stir up some racism in the country) this calls for a press confernce.
