In other words...yeah....all the bleeding heart cry-babies that were sooooo sad about the Boston bombings....they are now bored with the story....they don't care...it's pretty much JUST a TV movie now...they click back to CNN every now and then, but *mostly* they don't give a shit....

The presumably forthcoming part that will upset me is when the President climbs on top of the Boston coffins to use them as soapboxes as he did with the Sandy Hook coffins.

I'm not sure what's hypocritical about it. I don't expect people to react the same way to events close by and far away. I took Newtown seriously because New England is very close-knit. Although I sympathize with what happened in Texas recently, it really is much too far away for me to spend much time thinking about. I don't blame others for doing something similar for Boston. It's nice of them to have noticed and I appreciate the Fed support, but I don't expect people in CA to be overly distraught.

Anyway, the number of threads on the front page isn't really what's important.

Something terrible happened and people expressed their sympathies. Some people are still dealing with it and others aren't. What exactly is the problem here?

I just felt horrible watching the news this morning and seeing the kids' uncle give out the kids' Dad's address live on national news.
