Can you choose a country in an anonymous gunboat game?
I have gotten the SAME country in the THREE out of FOUR World DIP Gunboat games. THREE TIMES THE SAME ROTTEN COUNTRY.

Is this just bad luck or did I not see how to set a preference list???

I don't think I'm a troll--as when I think of a "troll" I think of someone who just mindlessly posts threads or comments to bother people, rather than just someone who posts a lot--but if I am one...

Let it be said I'm at least a DEMOCRATIC troll, damnit, rather than TC the Terrible and his fascist regime! :p

Sooooo...

TC's allowed to blast any ideas or viewpoints I might have, and mute me so I can't respond to him, and that's OK...

But if I post a counter-post expressing my view that such action is bad form, and give him the chance to respond to me to boot--as, again, I DON'T believe in muting people and denying them the chance to actually, you know, defend their views and have an actual converastion--then that's just plain wrong?

Logical fallacy. My telling you that you are wrong does not imply he is right. And if he has you muted then he isn't commenting on your threads or he *is* seeing your responses as he doesn't have you muted.

I was posting to voice the opposing viewpoint to everyone else, and, again, this is more a SATIRIC post than anything else, as the sarcasm in the title, I thought, would've indicated (unless, again, folks really think I believe Commies are all evil, Elitist and filthy, Liberals are Blind, and that TC kicks puppies...?!)

The thing is obiwan, we can't mute you because there's the small chance that you actually say something worthwhile, but on the other hand TC just goes on rambling about his crazy ideas. Therefor he is worth muting and you are not. Unless of course, you WANT the whole forum to mute you so you can argue with yourself in threads too.

What if we all try and derail all of TC's threads, so that he mutes every single person on the forum? Then every one of his topics will be him arguing with himself. It's not like a reasonable discussion can be produced in those topics, so we won't miss out on much anyway.

Why conservatives want to end many social programs.
It's not that we hate the poor, downtrodded, abused people. It's one simple thing; we expect adults to act like adults. If that is too much for us to ask, then maybe we need to re-evaluate the direction our society is headed.

This is great, just great. Tens of thousands of anti-aircraft missiles literally just sitting around in warehouses and similar facilities. I wonder who could possibly get a hold of those?
