Don't kid yourself, it's not like he actually thinks this stuff. He occasionally has a glimmer of halfway smart - probably his real self - and then finds his massive troll again. Even if he is conspiratorial or whatever, he exaggerates it.

I was there.
Left the exact scene of the second bomb maybe 30 minutes before it went off.
Had spent 3 hours there, looking at the race, waiting for my wife to pass by.
She thought she'd have a tough race (not prepared well enough) and that she'd take... 4 hours to do it. Thankfully, she ran as I thought she would and finished in 3.19.09 . In other words, we were leaving the scene (a block away) when it went off. She had been waiting 20 minutes for me at a spot just a few yards, if not feet away from the third bomb that didn't go off.
We're both in shock. I think. It's weird... not clear... can't think... glad I'm not in a game right now!

Like I was telling someone else: I feel like I might sound like i'm looking for attention or validation. Thing is: I just have this need to vent. All these weird feelings inside and no idea what to do with them. I see the faces of people, I hear their voices... people I left there at that very spot and who I know were still there when it happened. What do you do with that ? (that was a rhetorical question... I know you lot, and I know one would try to answer it if I didn't specify it -- and yes, that was sorta tongue in cheek.).

My wife and I are trying to work, with very little success. We keep sending each other words, here and there, on Facebook. We can't make sense of it, of how much it's impacting us even if we weren't on the scene when it happened. She just told me that a woman passing by on that film we keep seeing was in her corral. Anyway... Thanks for your kind words guys.
