Draugnar, I'm at that stage where I find it hard to handle straight whiskey anymore. But eventually, after drinking more I'll probably get used to it again.

mmm whiskey and coke I believe is what I was drinking when we did the first webcam game. I think straight whiskey would knock me out so fast I wouldn't have a chance to enjoy the whole drunken state.

Also, fun fact. Don't freeze your coffee. The temperature shock from being in the freezer to having hot water poured on it gives it a stale taste. Instead put it in a air tight container and place the container in a cool dark place (like a cabinet). That's at least what I've been taught at work.

That's also true Draug. Actually, at least for Starbucks coffee, the coffee in bag goes stale after a week of opening. I can't taste the difference if it's just a lil bit past the 1 week mark, but I have co-workers who can.

Apparently, the Japanese renamed a village Scotland and built a distillery there producing whisky - Made in Scotland.

Well Scottish Whisky is Scotch and anyone who mixes Scotch with Coke (especially single malt highland) is just insane.

Not a chance, Glenfiddich 18 year old (about $65 US) FTW! Unless of course you can handle $16,000 (yes, 16 thousand!) for a bottle of Scotch, then Glenfiddich 50 FTW!

However, no matter the quality or expense of the whisky, we'd probably just end up talking shite and falling over. We could do that on cheap black rum.

Rum is a vile drink that turns even the most respectable men into complete scoundrels. Now vodka... That I can get behind and it's a hell of a lot cheaper than scotch.

I can't afford such expensive whiskey so I usually end up drinking either Jim Beam or Jack Daniels. I wish I could afford Scotch.

It's not as good, but 12 year old scotch is still drinkable and some of the blendeds work well for scotch and soda (Crown Royal being a reasonably priced and decent tasting blended).

Glenfiddich is my go to. Lagavulin my favorite though. Peat-bog heaven!
