Seriously now, where did they go? There were never huge numbers of them, but they cropped up every now and then to provide unparalleled excitement at the breakfast table. Now they seem to have vanished into the murky depths of history along with the space shuttle and the cream that used to float on top of a pint of milk.
Is this evidence that humanity is in terminal decline?

Can someone explain why I keep seeing this in basically every thread (not to me, mind; just in general)? Did someone keep saying it and now it's sort of an ironic in-joke? I don't understand!

Well???? This is a question I love to put to armchair scientists on Internet forums. It puts an end to their ignorant bullshit before it even gets a chance to start.
Gravity is not proven and is called the theory of gravity, not the law of gravity. Since its only a theory it shouldn't be taught in school as there is insufficient evidence to prove that things fall towards the ground when dropped.
What if the power of a god were proportional to the number of followers he has?
Assume the god/gods of each religion have divine power proportional to the number of followers. Assume also that gods can carry out divine intervention. What would happen to the world? Please only consider religions that have a considerable following in the modern day.

With taking belgium I could get a build, to help hold mid atlantic, luckily turkey screwed it and lost 1 round.

I let you have StP, because I knew I can get it back any time. Letting you into norway was a misorder on the convoy. Otherwise it would have been much more easier.
Yeah my goal was to dick around in Scandinavia and try to divert some of your stalemate units away. Always good to get behind the line even if it's not an sc. Anyhow looks like you knew the stalemate units an positions like an ace so good job taking it back.

I think you should have taken munich at the very first time, and get into france with 1 unit only. Tha would have secured the winningg for you. Yes I agree, being behid the lines is always good, but this time, it was a wrong order, costing me almos the whole game.
To be fair I think be taking Belgium he made sure you didn't have spare units with which to eliminate him and make it a 2wd. You needed exactly 12 units and his F in Spain to hold the line and technically with 13 you could have used NWY to sh in STP and move GoB back down to eliminate him slowly.
ava, on the one hand you are right, but if you had taken both north africa and western, than there was no chance for me to hold both spain and mid atlantic, and you had a 50% chance to get through. Without taking belgium, I could have built a new fleet, and protect mid-atlantic in time. With this, italy risked the whole game.
Seeing as the 5 Gunboat Challenge idea has become so popular I thought I would put a bit more work in to making it special so I created a public spreadsheet, with a full roster, useful information, and full reference of game information, including participants and game links.
Interesting article on prospective employers forcing interviewees to show them facebook profiles etc. Do you guys feel this is an invasion of privacy or something legitimate for corporations to be doing now?
