Spring '01: Oh boy, Turkey. And this will be the first time ever I get someone interested in the Sev-Con Shuffle. He is a non-native speaker of English, however, so this might be rough.
Fall '01: Unfortunately, Russia can't understand the maneuver, and bounces Sev rather than moving to Con in Fall '01. So... I guess I have to build two fleets and take Black Sea back.
Spring '02: Ok, so I look to cooperate w/ Austria. Who promptly stabs me in Bulgaria.
~'03-'05: Germany floats the idea of a four way draw, Italy Germany Austria and I. I am for it, until Austria proves to be an unreliable player, stabs me again in Bulgaria and Rumania a few turns later. Their is a particularly painful Autumn where I miss submitting orders due to an important phone call, so I lose the opportunity to take Greece and bounce Rumania as well.
Italy and I come to an agreement to take him Austria. It will mostly just depend how many other players we will include the draw.
Endgame: I force Italy to vote draw, even though we could have easily played for a 2 way, or I could have solo'ed. I just feel it is better to live up to your word, and I had told G, E, and I that I wanted a draw for the better part of the game, and I really had to get some errands run in the afternoon.
France was a bit rabid on the global chat though.
