@Leonidas. My idea was to set up 7 games where the only way to advance to the final was by taking the most supply centers, thereby making it actually a true winner take all game where players are forced to be at the top. Details are still being ironed out, but i was thinking to start as soon as we had 49 signups

This tournament thing is intriguing to me, and very new to me as well, maybe though 49 is a big ask... is there the option of four games, three rounds, top eight of each round are seeded in pairs of each game per round, I would assume it is anon, no msging? after three rounds the top seven suppliers go into the final.... or is there already strict criteria for tournament play?

I would be interested. But i am a newbie and don't have a GR.

Rules are as follows: 7 anonymous games with full messaging. Winner of each game advances to the final. To win, you must have the most supply centers among everyone, with a game ending time of 1915 (this is what was discussed and seems to be an okay solution). In the event of a draw during the game, the player with the most supply centers advances, so if you can orchestrate a draw while ahead, kudos to you. In the event of a tie for centers, we had discussed putting it to a vote of the remaining players to see who advances. I would still like to hear discussion from those involved so far as well as outsiders
