When is a game cancelled for cheating and when not?

I was in an anonymous game which was cancelled earlier this week after I reported fishy behaviour of two of the players. If those players had been banned and game continued I would probably have won the game (primarily because I would have been the only 'survivor' left.

Its quite obvious the Bearnstien Affair of Early December is linked to the recent banning of Stupendous Man and Rooster Man.

Yes, it is obvious the two of us knew eachother, that is Me (Bearnstien/PBSMassacre/and now Thursday) and him (Stupendous Man and Rooster Man). We are roommates in a triple at school.

You have banned both my friend's accounts and mine (and you will soon ban Thursday). But you have missed banning my Third Roommate and he is starting to get uppity. He seems to think he is actually a good player and keeps talking about how he owns the mods at this website and they are "on his jock (dick)".

His name is NotoriousMJF. Its rather obvious that he metagamed with us. Go back and look at all the live games we played together when we first started metagaming back in September. In over 10 live games you can see where Me (Bearnstien), Roommate #1 (Rooster Man), and Roommate #2 (NotoriousMJF) drew after defeating everyone else in the game.

In conclusion, you may think that you have banned the majority of his accounts in the past (Masterchef, JohnPothen, Champishere, TheChampisback, etc etc etc.) Well done in destroying these proto-accounts of his, however he holds Notorious as his pride and joy and it must be destroyed.

Clearly Bearnstein is back on a new account and is looking for ways to bring down other players that have a strong allegiance to this website and its rules. I trust that everyone here knows better than to fall for Bearnstein's tactics, as he mentioned my name in the last thread, before he was banned, too. Mods, can you please delete Thursday and find some way of getting this guy to a mental clinic? Many thanks.

I just wanted to say that I'm back in business. After weeks of negotiations with the Mods in Kestas' homeland of Germany, we came to an agreement. Terms and figures are not being immediately disclosed, however, I can tell you that it is estimated that when all is said and done, the Mods will have paid me roughly 20 million dollars to return to this here website. I just want to extend a nice hardly "fuck you" to Kestas, FiglesFAG, magiclit and Rooster Man, all of whom have sucked my dick at one point or another. Anyways, I have to go, but just wait until I anally rape this website once again.

Couple of other things.
Before those of you who play here get worried, we've known about Thursday all along. However, it appeared that he'd grown up a bit and was playing fairly, so we let him be.

Yes, there *is* a way to limit it, but I would assume that this guy doesn't pass the litmus test for 'obnoxious enough to IP Ban" - which I agree with, he's a one trick pony, so who cares what he posts?

I would like to thing it was natural and not just cheating but the Autumn 1902 move of Russia in galicia supporting Italy' s Tyrolia to Vienna was the first real recognition of this cheating communication.

Units missing from map in pre-game

Hi, I'm new here and am a little confused.
In game #18940 it's in pre-game, and orders have been placed, but no units appear on the map.
In game#19581 it's in the same phase, but units do appear.
Any idea why units are missing from the first game? Thanks!

Question/Suggestion

I think there should be a SEARCH function button where one can search for a particular user.... eg: I am trying to find the Captains of the Australian World Cup teams and its impossible.
Unless they EVER post on this forum again, i won't spend days and days trawling thru the forum posts of yesteryear in order to find them...

Or is there another way to do this?

Isn’t It Funny . . . .

Isn’t it funny how some players\allies, after missing a turn or making wrong moves, and in doing so put both themselves as well as their counterpart at risk of takeover believe that the other player is still obligated to blindly support and\or work with them due to an agreed upon alliance? And if you don’t you are ‘stabbing’ them. Couldn’t those above actions be loosely be considered ‘a stab’ in and of themselves?

guilt

I think I've posted something similar about this in the past....
But, one thing I really dislike about diplomacy is the guilt that I carry throughout the game that will only get heavier and heavier as the game finishes.

Something Fishy

Please observe France and Russia's behavior in this game. Another note - Russia never sent any messages to anybody else in this game. And France was pretty tight lipped too...perhaps too busy entering in their several orders to notice they had messages?
