Missing Player

In one of my games, we are missing a player, and the game is paused. I was hoping one of the Gamemasters could unpause it, or at least put the missing player in Social Disorder so we can replace him. Thanks in advance : )

Puppets or multi-account

Look England and Italy playing as Russia puppets . They conquer ans then Russia comes and takes the SC.

Nope I believe more that they are spineless puppets. :P

I am not bitter I play for fun . But I rarely see players that are attacked lose SC and don't retaliate. Don't even try to retaliate.

Just for everybody else to have a laugh. how slave can you be :)))

If you're in a situation where there's nothing you can do to retaliate...or where retaliation would leave you too open somewhere else...or where you only had that SC because they helped you/didn't attack you in the first place...there are many reasons why you wouldn't retaliate. Rather than calling them 'puppets', I'd applaud the 'puppeteer' for their diplomacy.

I'm not sure what to make of this yet. I did some double checking just to make sure and I don't see much connection between account djbent and anyone else.

HOWEVER....there are definitely connections between accounts rghelase2001, maverob, and bossu (3 of the players in the game.)

I will be emailing those who have not hidden their addresses to continue my investigation. If you are one of the players named here and you don't get an email from me, I urge you to initiate contact to avoid a possible ban for multi-accounting.

Hmm - since apparently everyone involved has hidden their email address let me alter that last statement. If you were named somewhere in that last thread please email me. If you know anyone of the players named outside of phpDip please let them know about this thread and just to cover your bases you may want to email me yourself. There are a number of other accounts at least somewhat linked and I would not want to go banning anyone before they could defend themselves.

Theirony is, his last moves were just plain stupid. He support holds a territory which is minimally threatened instead of the supporting an army or fleet into a big garing open one surrounded on three sides by the guy about to win. How F-ing stupid...

What happens to a game that does not start with enough players?

If there's only 5 or 6 players, I know Italy and some other country start as CD.

But what happens if there's like...only two players? Does the game wait for more, or does it become a east vs. west game?

So, how are points divvied up again?

Just won a game, http://www.phpdiplomacy.net/board.php?gameID=8371 , where the pot was 50 points. For winning with 18 SCs, I was awarded 18 points.

I thought you were supposed to get most of the points in the pot if you won.

False advertising

It said, lysol kills 99.9% of all viruses and bacteria...
But viruses aren't alive anyway so how can you kill them?
Is this considered false advertsisng as they are saying they do something that they actually can't do. Can I sue them?

Quick rules question

Does a convoy cut support for an attack on a province supporting the convoy? Example:
Russia convoys Sev to Ank, supported by Arm
Turkey orders Ank to support Smy to Arm
Does everything bounce, or does Turkey take Arm?
