University Students
So I know there's a whole range of ages on this site, but since I'm myself doing this out of a dorm room, it occurred to me that a lot of the folks here might be college students, checking this site habitually between classes after (or before) facebook.

Is anybody else here a college student? And if so, where?

Moderator needed...
We have a game stuck on pause (game 7771) in which all contestants have voted for a draw except for one who hasn't logged in since Tue, Jan 06.
At what point can a moderator declare this game a draw?

Question on multiaccounting
Before you all start flaming against me, I am merely curious I have niether the time nor the inclination to attempt what I am inquiring about.
If some one makes multiple accounts, but never uses them in the same game, thereby not cheating, is it still wrong and ban-able?
A possible ligit use for this would be to play more games than you can on one accounts limited points.

Moderator... draw game requested.
Game 7771 has been paused for a week, with 6 members voting for a draw. The remaining member has not logged in since Tue Jan 06. Can a moderator make this draw?

Alrite, so i got accused of mutli-acounting. It was true. I had three acounts. One was following the rules, word by word. The other two, they were in games together.

Problem with Saturday's roll
I don't remember exactly, but I am pretty confident I finalized my moves late Friday night (GMT), or at least, made them and updated, but not finalized waiting for some late information exchange. And in two of my games (at least) these moves didn't went through.

A fleet in Gascony or Brest couldn't attack Paris could it?
Paris is inland, so that tells me no, but I'm not leaving it up to chance. Why is the option to build a fleet in Paris there if it's inland anyways?

(D)? What is a (D)? Name our "coin"!
I don't know if it has done before. Let's vote on a name for our "money".
I propose the self-evident and simple (I'm going to sleep now):
"Diplo"
philcore (317 D(S))
08 Jan 09 UTC
Self evident is right - that's where the (D) came from. Diplopoint or Diplo for short

Signalseven (116 D)

I seem to recall you calling them DiploDollars on the forums a lot back awhile back. It's not bad but it's kind of a generic in terms of a currency name.

If you tell someone you have earned 1000 DiploDollars it makes sense but has no flare.

If you tell someone you have earned 1000 Daggers it intrigues people.

I like Diplos because it sounds like Euros, and D is next to E, but tbh if you referred to them as anything other than points I think people would get confused. Not sure why I put a D on them really, I just felt I had to put some symbol on to make it look like a coin or chip

Elo-points were never points, they were "rating", and now, because they aren't really Elo, they are Ghost-rating :D

I made them, I name them. On that principle we need to talk to Kestas for this thread.
RBerenguel (334 D)
11 Jan 09 UTC
Fine with that :P I think I used to hear "Elo points" to what you had as an Elo rating back when I played chess. But not sure.
TheGhostmaker (1545 D)

Whenever I played chess it was called FIDE rating. Elo-rating I got from an adaptation used for age of empires.

Shouldn't the support from Rumania allow Budapest to support the move to Vienna? Thanks for replying.
