I'm so done caring about the Syrian Civil War. The only people that can end the Syrian Civil War are the Syrian people. It's a waste of time and resources to think that either the West or anyone else can improve the situation.

Besides, gas attacks against legitimate military targets (especially when used within one's own borders) aren't super illegal or anything. Chemical weapons use alone is not a sufficient casus belli for any outside parties in my opinion.

The only people that can actually end any civil war are the people. When foreign interventions bring in new governments, it only reignites the fire.

To be honest, I'm not even taking sides in the Syrian mess....they have pretty much contained themselves to killing one another, so I don't give a flying fuck.

What I *do* care about is that it is about the thousandth example of US incompetence, and even another example of the US Administration outright lying. The President drew a "line in the sand"...and then another...this was a "serious issue" and the collective world government went "Hubba hubba...hurrah! the chemical weapons MUST GO!"

And....it was yet another lie from the US government perpetrated upon the world.

Our demented and increasingly foolish European allies thought the US would "handle it". Oh yeah...we handled it...we turned the control of the situation over the Vladimir Putin. LOL.

Here's so what...what happens the next time there is a **real** crisis. I don't know....one of you silly libtards pick something that actually bothers you. Here we go....how about is a Chemical Weapon gets launched against your precious Palestinian Terrorists in the Gaza strip. How about then? Will you hope that the US has enough prestige left to "do something" about the horror, oh the horror? Or have you all become so fucking jaded that you just don't care about anyone, anywhere, except your own self-absorbed skin?

I'm curious...when does it matter to any of your troglodytes when innocent people are killed by the tens of thousands in a foreign land? Personally, I suspect the color of the victim's skin, and their particular religion, has a whole hell of a lot to do with why you don't give a damn.

1. US says, "this is serious" and then does nothing. US prestige is at an all time low, which makes the entire world a more dangerous place (just ask the Ukrainians...and the Europeans that are going to start worrying about their gas supplies if they piss Putin off...which will impact the *entire* global economy...which means every precious libtard in the US looking for government hand-outs)
2. Chemical weapons can be bought and sold. Chemical weapons in the hands of people that don't give a shit....might end up in....oh, how about Boston. Even more depressing than the suffering in Syria has been the outside world's reaction to it.
