Hahahahahaha!!!!!!! Do you not know how ignorant you just proved yourself to be? Soy converts CO2 to O2 just the same as a forest!. *All* plants do it. So a field of soy or a forest of trees... Both are converting CO2 to O2. Hell, the grass I grow on my open field (as well as the pear and apple trees that border my field) and the hay my parents farm on their acreage all convert CO2 to O2. If it is green, is attached to something via a form of root which provides nutrients, and it grows (i.e. it is plant life), then it converts CO2 to O2.

Trees are bigger than soy stalks.

Oh, and krellin, if properly maintained, natural plants are better for your fresh water aquarium and live rock is best for marine tanks (yes, I am an amateur aquatics enthusiast).

@Draug - no doubt aquatic plants are better for fish than plastic. That being said, most people throw plastic plants in, and machinery to oxygenate the air, and the little fishies are just fine.

Well, just fine until I throw a crab or some aggressive predator fish in to the mix and watch the wonderful violence of nature commence before my eyes. It's always fascinating to watch the little beasties tearing each other up

I accidentally got a piece of lkve rock once with a thumb splitter (a mantis shrimp). The are called thumb splitter cause they will do just that if they get you. They move so fast that they set of a "gunshot" sonic boom that can crack a real glass tank. Anyhow, they are known for killing their tank mates. Well he got one of my smaller triggers before I knew he was in there, but my Picasso Trigger was having none of that and did him in right after. He got one and only one meal before becoming a meal himself.
