Just making a list....
Hello WebDip. I'm making a list. If you think that feminism is harming society, or that black activists are "race-baiters," or that America's only moral obligation is to the American nation, or that anthropogenic climate change is overblown, or that laws to economically assist the poor such as a minimum wage are counter-productive to economic growth, or that "privilege" as a concept is an invention of ivory tower academics, please subscribe to my list. :D

Just got an alert on my phone that these talks broke down. Wonder if the Democrats realize the full implications of changing the rules. Like, the Supreme Court Justice John Yoo implications.

Voting in a Game
When voting for an option, does the vote need to be unanimous to pass or just a majority? Also, is there a time limit on the "Pause" option? Cheers,

Beer and Cigarettes
Companion thread to Brandy and Cigars, for the lower class of drinkers. Hehe. Personally, my favorite beers are Bell's Third Coast Old Ale, Loose Cannon's Hop3 IPA, Duchesse de Borgogne, and Unibroue's Maudite. Currently enjoying a 6 of Fuller's ESB. What beers are on YOUR must-have list?

More a wine/cognac/cocktail person...

But Heineken and Dos Equis are my go-to beers...

But Light or Sam Adams at a party/sports bar...

The only beer I've had that I think is swill is Blue Moon-ugh. No thanks.
Nickelbrook Naughty Neighbour APA and a fresh pack of Belmonts.

If the only beer you've had that you think is swill is Blue Moon you're either:

1. The most fucking pretentious douche on Earth
2. Have lived an empty life without experiences with Keystone Light, Natty Light, etc.
3. Not really a drinker

As for my answer, a good non-binge drinking beer is Green Line by Goose Island. Summer Shandy or a Radler if you're outside. I only smoke cigars so nothing to say on the cigarettes.

Wait, what's wrong with Blue Moon?
gen_re_lee (255 D)

Sierra Nevada Torpedo, Fat Tire, New Glarus's Moon Man.
It doesn't really taste like beer, man.
+1 Gen_ Lee for the Moon Man.
My fav is J.W. Dundee's Honey Brown. Abita Turbo dog is good
Pete's Wicked Ale
I had a brew called Arrogant Bastard Ale once. Loved the name but the taste wasn't to my liking.

I started brewing my own with Brewer's Best kits. Irish porter was so delicious I really couldn't believe I made it myself. My next try was an "American amber" - I liked it, but the carbonation was inconsistent from bottle to bottle. Next up is oatmeal stout, I'm very excited but waiting a few days for an old friend to move back to town so we can brew it together. Then a mere five weeks of waiting.....

Beer - Orkney Dark Island, Everards Tiger or Carling/Carlsberg on a hot day.

Cigarettes - anything but Marlboro. Gitanes for preference, or hand rolled from whatever cheap tobacco is available.

Way back in the day, I drank a lot of Pete's Wicked Ale...I don't think it distributes around here anymore, though. Nice callback.

My favorite current beer is Soft Parade by a microbrewer called Shorts. They sampled it at the grocery store here since it's a relatively local company, and it's freaking delicious. I've bought nothing else since, although I often get gifted random beer.

Founder's Breakfast Stout is a new favorite. Surly Furious is quite good. Bell's Oberon in the summertime, or any of the silly hophead beers (Dogfish Head, etc) that aren't very good, but well, I like hops. For a cheap beer on a hot day a Sierra Nevada pale or a Heineken are good. American Spirits when I used to smoke, though I thank god every day that I quit a number of years ago. I actually rank swill like Blue Moon, Sam Adams, Honey Brown, etc below Beast and Nati Light because at least those beers aren't pretending to be anything other than alcoholic piss water to get you drunk. Like a good stout, or a good porter, or a good IPA. Can handle a good lager. Not really a fan of the Belgians, good or otherwise. For my money, Founder's and Bell's are two of the most consistently good craft breweries in the US

Guinness, Guinness, and more Guinness. Hold the ciggies. Actually, a good IPA never goes astray. Nor does the odd case of Coopers Sparkling Ale. :)

How to survive as Austria in gunboat?
The name of the thread should be clear for everyone.
I know about Hedgehog openings, but it's tough to capitalize on them.
It's extremely hard for me to see Italy playing Lepanto, so it leaves 2 options: fighting France or Austria for Italy. And Austria is the easy one.
