Founder's Breakfast Stout is a new favorite. Surly Furious is quite good. Bell's Oberon in the summertime, or any of the silly hophead beers (Dogfish Head, etc) that aren't very good, but well, I like hops. For a cheap beer on a hot day a Sierra Nevada pale or a Heineken are good. American Spirits when I used to smoke, though I thank god every day that I quit a number of years ago. I actually rank swill like Blue Moon, Sam Adams, Honey Brown, etc below Beast and Nati Light because at least those beers aren't pretending to be anything other than alcoholic piss water to get you drunk. Like a good stout, or a good porter, or a good IPA. Can handle a good lager. Not really a fan of the Belgians, good or otherwise. For my money, Founder's and Bell's are two of the most consistently good craft breweries in the US
