Every citizen born in the United States or every naturalized citizen absolutely has the right to vote. They have to be registered to vote (right now) and they should have to show some form of identification to vote.

The problem with the voter laws is that it both presumes and indicts and robs citizens without an ID of a basic right without any proof they **ARENT**.

Yeah you have the right to do it but you have to at a bare minimum register to vote. You should have to have an ID as well to vote.

It's also a right/privilege because the right to vote can be taken away if you are a felon. Just like the right/privilege to own a gun can be taken away if you are a felon. Just like the right to free speech has stipulations such as causing a public panic if you do that then you are subject to the consequences.

Just because it is a right doesn't mean that there shouldn't be any restrictions. A voter ID protects the system from fraud. It's necessary and needed or the dems will continue to pack the polls with unregistered illegal votes and keep stealing elections.

This is a classic example between someone who actually wants to protect the system (me) and someone who wants to open it up to tampering and manipulation (brain).

Brain is a smart guy, but he knows (just as I know) that the only way the Democratic Party can win is through voter fraud. Thus, to protect his criminal organization (the Democratic Party) he seeks to expose ideas that continue and perpetuate illegal and fraudulent voting.

1) Protecting what system? the system is rigged as you just pointed out to favor people who have the where-with-all to go out and get themself a photo ID. I know this must seem crazy to imagine, but alot of people 18,19, 20 in inner cities dont have cars, and they dont have photo ID's. A lot of seniors dont have valid Photo ID's anymore either because A. they old, and B. they only would need it to vote. So again I ask, and you keep ignoring the obvious to say you wanna protect against Fraud... who is actually voting over and over and over?

To bring it back to the larger point, Voter Suppression, is to install policies which make it harder, more frustrating, and more difficult to vote. I can tell you that in a (RED STATE) Nebraska, the process just to get an absentee ballot wasnt easy. I had to register to vote in my home county, then tell them I had a change of address, them fax them my request for an absentee ballot. Okay... why the hell isnt there just a button to click to request an absentee ballot? im a registered voter, all it would take is an automated system to approve me. They dont even bother to have that.

Instead of recalibrating fucked up voting machines, or improving long lines at the polls, the best they can come up with is vicious laws designed to keep people with voter cards away?
