The same media that is so Pretend-Offended by this private conversation:
* Runs ET, TMZ, Dish Nation, etc all of which purely exist to talk about, primarily, women's appearance and whether they are hot, deirable, etc
* Created the Kardashians -- with the approval of the American Public that watches them and pays the bills for the media -- which is a show following a family who's soul purpose at times seems to be to simply flaunt their bodies and show them is states of undress, including nudity, so that people will talk about them in purely sexual ways.
* Has filled the airwaves with TV shows in which women are seen as objects of sexual desire -- both Willingly and unwillingly -- and the American public loves it, which is why they get the ratings to keep the shows on air
* Has likewise filles the airwaves with TV shows about Med - husbands and father-figures - which are seemingly more-often-than-not portrayed as blithing idiots and fools unable to find their way out of a box - so the degredation of men is all the rage, these days
* Helped create such wonderful feminine role-models as Miley Cyrus, who seems inclined to make sure we see as much of her body as posible and view her as a sxual object, for whom vulgarity is a way of life to seel herself to the world...and about whom I'd venture to guess a lot of the younger members of this site have had probably used a wack-off fodder on an occassion or two, probably while looking at her "leaked" pictures on-line
* Seemingly never turns down the advertising revenue for the ads that sell everything from cars to cookies through the sexualization of women, in which they are little more than sexy meat to turn on your desires in the hopes that you will likewise desire said car....cookie
***** and on and on and on....
**** and the Politicians crying foul.....<sigh>.....from what we know goes on with interns in Congress, the general degredation of women in Washington, the etc etc etc. If any of you are truly stupid enough to think that you politicians are pure as the driven snow, as opposed to simply being people trained to speak in careful ways around microphones....i.e. they are all LIARS....then you are truly foolish.
There is an entire women's magazine - Cosmopolitan - that seems focused on sexualizing women, that is sold TO women, which contains articles about how to talk dirty to your man, that has articles about "women talk", etc etc etc....
****TO BE CLEAR, I"m not saying that what Trump said is "right". I'm also not so ridiculously hypocritical to say it was wrong. It simply WAS. Billy Bush thought it was pretty fuckiing funny at the time, and ET thought nothing of it, evidienced by the fact that they shrugged and buried the tape. No doubt this isn't the first time a Hollywood celebrity had said something off-color and vulgar in their midst.
This controvery is bullshit. Good lord, a man said something that, in any other circumstance would be "What? Someone said what? Oh....saigh...." <shove another french fry in my pie hole>
We have a music industry in this country that pretty much views women as objects to be conquestd for men's pleasure. If you want to get into specfici segments of the music inustry -- say "hip hop" -- then said attitudes about women are often displayed in extremely graphic language....
....and I'll bet more than a few of you have phones full of said lyrics that you love to listen to through you headphones.
So forgive me if I find all of this FEIGNED INDIGNATION just a little laughable and contrived.
