Duel of the Fogeys
I'm looking for a new game, and after my last exasperating experience playing with the general population (a full-press game where nobody talked, I got teamed up on by my neighbors but still survived to the SIX-way draw) I'm looking for some new players. I think it would be fun to try and play with some people that fall into the age group of 30+. Aside from full-press with 2- or 3-day phases, I'd be open to any other combination of settings. Any takers?

A Red Sun Rises

Your poem at the top of this page, your use of the word "Shylock" which is widely considered derogatory and sparks outrage when used in any form of media, your last two posts implying that all Jewish people are cheap...actually just about every post you've made on this thread. It is the constant and clearly negative nature of the posts that make it clear to everyone here your main intent in this thread is to degrade a people as a whole and not contribute at all to the conversation, per your own admission of threadjacking.

I'm not actively modding the forum right now, but I'm letting you know that this has crossed the line of what's acceptable. And continuing to make posts like it will only annoy whatever mod ends up reviewing this thread.

"You CARE about these animals?" This quite clearly demonstrates that you are not using the word in context it is used in the play, but instead it's derogatory slang form which is a slam against all Jewish people.

Far in the past the n word was not considered slang, and was widely used in novels such as Huckleberry Fin, and yet, everyone seems to have the common sense to understand that just because something used to be okay doesn't mean it is anymore.

As I've said, I'm not forum modding myself, but I am explaining to you how anyone who is will probably take your posts. Continuing to ignore me would be a very poor decision on your part. That'll be all I say on this topic maple. Think carefully before replying.

You're welcome to exclude the use of the word "shylock" from your book of antisemitic remarks. It really doesn't mean much to most of the Jewish people I know (though it may in other demographics; I don't know) and most Jewish kids don't even know it has/used to have a connotation to it. That's not even close to being the only potentially antisemitic statement in this thread though, and it would be a hell of a coincidence if historically antisemitic terms like "shylock," whether they hold present-day meaning or not, got mixed into this mess just by chance.

Russian speaking Ukraine =/= Russian. Civilians in Russian-speaking Ukraine are Ukrainian citizens, not Russian ones.

I'm not denying that there have been terrible actions here, but you cannot claim that, in general, these people are Russian civilians.

There is indeed a threat to Russian-speaking civilians. There is no threat to Russian civilians. Do you accept this?

Right Sektor being Nazis does not mean that everyone opposed to the dismemberment of Ukraine is a Nazi. Nice try, though.

Those other actions transferring territory were illegal. I don't dispute that. I don't know how support for Kosovo's independence is "barbaric," but I readily concede that it wasn't a legal act.

The cases are distinguishable since there a territory declared independence while here one state is seizing another's land, but that's not worth getting into.

What was the username of the guy who used to be an israeli soldier again?
He had a nice story that more or less started with how he used to be in the army and didn't like the destruction so made sure he got fired. The forum community sort of convinced him that he got some things wrong.
I'd like to ask him something. I suppose the odds are small but I can at least post this thread.
