I sent a message to a player, asking for a DMZ. The player still moved in, citing not knowing my request. I send the logged message but the player insisted its not in his log. When I wonder if the game had a bug, the player did not want the moderator to look into the log.
Would the above scenario matches the violation of rule 4) in this link webdiplomacy.net/rules.php
Basically this player is using the software as a mean to cover his track. When I wonder if the moderator can look into his claim [not having my message sent to him], he said I am using the moderator as part of the politics.
What ya think?
05:03 AM [Pacific-Russia]:You sent me no text proposing the Poland DMZ proposal. I want to recognise the vile creature for what you are, and I will expose your insecure nature to the rest of the world.
05:22 AM [You]:Really, you gotta be kidding me?
~05:03 AM [Pacific-Russia]:there, happy?
~05:03 AM [Pacific-Russia]:there, happy?
~05:03 AM [Pacific-Russia]:why don't you say this: "I make up stories about beating children, and I find brain damage funny. I care about no one else, and I am an insecure person"
~05:03 AM [Pacific-Russia]:surely its not that hard.
05:24 AM [You]:Wow, you know what, there is a possibility the game had a bug and did not send the message to your box. In my box it shows that I sent, but if you did not see it, then it's the game's bug.
I can petition the Moderator to prove it to you and fix the bug.
~05:03 AM [Pacific-Russia]:Now you're just finding excuses to bring the moderator into this.
~05:03 AM [Pacific-Russia]:Yes?
05:26 AM [You]:No, clearly the software had a bug?
~05:03 AM [Pacific-Russia]:In which case the moderators already know about it. Don't deny it. You want to bring moderators into this.
~05:03 AM [Pacific-Russia]:I have no problem with this 'bug'.
05:35 AM [You]:If they already know about it, they will tell me, "We already know about it. No need to look into it." but if they don't know about it, they will look, then improve the software. Just leave it to the moderators, they know what to do.
