Just tell her not to play with you then. Before either of us enter into a game we make sure the other isn't playing since we both prefer anon gunboat.

But, really I understand. I don't really play press games much cause of time and cause I'm much to trusting of my allies. I'm still learning so it's been a hard curve.

She doesn't like the lying and stabbing part. She would be what I would call a "care bear" Diplomacy player, and she isn't that good at gunboats, partly because she just doesn't care for the game. That's ok. She plays RPG games with me so I am more than happy with that.

I'm pretty sure she has lied many times before...if you don't want to stab or lie dont then, but you cannot prevent other players from doing so

And there's a lot to be said about not telling the full truth. But yay for the rpg player. Need more female players of those too.

I don't know what you are talking about KoP. I wish there were more female players in chess, Diplomacy, and RPG. Diplomacy would be a very very different game if there were more females players, especially if they are in the same game.
We are waiting for Diablo 3 to come out so we can play together. :)

Omg yes. My husband built himself a hackntosh just so he could play DIablo 3 on a decently priced puter. I wish I could talk him into SWTOR but he's just not into Star Wars.

I used to play an iPod game (not going to give nam e) that was fun and aentertaining multiplayer game. However, recently a bunch of females began playin and its more of a dating service now than a video game. Literally. Half the messages: "wanna sex?" "What's ur number?" "Ok text you later", etc. Even I have received numerous offers.

Anyways, its no fun once females joined the game :/ now more chatting then fighting

I've played for several years and have met plenty of female dip players. Some are open about it, some don't want to get harassed by overly flirty nerds.

Crazyter and djbent are some of the best players I've come up against (especially Crazy... she stomps my ass routinely). I'm not "using their gender as my weakness" nor are they "using their gender to their advantage." Their gender isn't something that ever came up, there was no flirting, just straight up diplomacy. If someone saw the history of the messaging, they'd not know the other player was female. They just are really good players (as their GR has shown).

In just figured eventually I'd be outed anyways so might as well do it on my own terms.

@Zultar And yes I play RPG I've played WoW until I got bored and currently play SWTOR with the stereotypical healer character for a woman. And I'd have to check with him about playing D3 but I don't see why not.

Agreed with FK. It was a great pleasure to play against both Crazy and DJ. Pandora, not so much : ) Never got a chance to play against Akroma. And, that's all the female Dip players on this site I can recall.

There are a number of girls the PC gaming community I'm a part of. I really don't notice them being treated any differently than anyone else.

Not anymore. When I was in high school (bout 10 years ago) I was one of only a handful that I knew of. Shock and awe were common reaction. As well as some girls taking advantage of guys wanting to help a poor girl out. Made me sick when women did it then (cause really I can do anything a guy can do in game) and makes me very happy that people are more aware of people like that now.

@Celticfox - which server are you on in SWTOR? And which side do you play? I'm on Kssler's Void and play a Bounty Hunter (Empire obviously).

I'm on Master Zhar Lestin and I'm a Sith Sorc healing spec.

Maybe I'll have to roll up an SI over there and run her through the levels. I always play female characetrs (what hetero guy wants to spend hours staring at a cartoon dudes ass?)
