Names are revealed at the end. We do have an automatic multi-account checker for checking out users, and TGM does get a full set of data for his ghost-rating, anonymous or not

We're trying to give people more features (especially when someone else did the majority of the coding) while keeping it fairly simplistic. I think our new game panel and game search make adding variants less of a problem, because it's clearer and easier to filter out the game types you're not interested in, so we can have more features without feeling swamped (hopefully)

I haven't been playing long, but reading the patch notes, these sound pretty epic. Cheers for the effort you and anyone else puts in.

I was kidding about the features, Kestas. :-P (I was one of the hardest pushers for anonymous names, I'm very glad we have that now. That may or may not join WTA as one of my deal breakers when deciding to join a new game now.)

Sweet! I love the countdown timer....it makes me happy and yet fills me with apprehension at the same time.

If you don't like the seconds countdown, use Firefox, install adblock, and then tell it to block timer.js.

hmm, I'm having a problem. I'm using Firefox and where it says Next Phase: it always says Now. Anyone have any ideas?

Random thought: (I know it must seem like the suggestions never stop...) Do you think that you could display one's timezone in their profile somewhere? I don't do live games much, but it might make it easier for those that do do them to coordinate them.

Dunecat, I added join period limit because I didn't wanted gamelist with lots of games that nobody will pay attention after it was created. (I'm running localized version of webdiplomacy with small userbase. small userbase + lots of new users going CD right after they create/join game is not good.)
currently it throws an error if joining period is longer than 3 day and phase lenth is shorter than joining period.
maybe kestas will remove it.. or tune parameter.
