@ssorenn: You missed what was said. MM commented that he sends posts that are truth at the time, but when something else comes along that he commits to, his prior truth becomes a lie, even though he spoke from truth at the time. There was no sugar coating going on.
The "feel" of the press is the sincerity that was put into it. If I send press that is sincere, then it takes a whole different feel than press that I send that is intentionally false at the time it was sent. For example, if I'm playing as Russia and I tell Germany that I'm not going to Prussia and Silesia, and at the time I say it, I mean it, then it's a truthful statement sent with sincerity. If, later on, I receive a message from Austria saying that he wants to hit Germany and he will support me into Silesia and I agree to such a move, it doesn't make my original press to Germany a lie at the time I sent it, it just means that it becomes a lie afterward.
I'm not trying to parse words. People do this all the time when they agree to something and then back out of it.
