I have figured out the No moves received / received: 0/1 line. He is counting actual phases starting today apparently. So dyager has had a phase go through today, is that correct?

How do you give likes to other players?

Unconventional strategy.

I do hope it gets fixed it so that forced Civil Disorders don't count. I have never missed a phase or actually gone into disorder (only been removed due if I remember correctly to a mistake during the last League games), so seeing only that 98% is, as you can imagine, deeply upsetting.

One problem I see with this, is it encourages a "stretegy" I've seen in a few games already- a losing player, who has given up the game, keeps ordering holds rather than going CD. It's worse than going CD, since at least if you go CD someone else can take over the position after 2 turns.

Great addition to the site. I'm sure that even if reliability % isn't an option for starting games! that it will be used by many users as a filter for passworded games so that we can all get a better gaming experience.

Reliability of 99% here. Real life sometimes gets in the way for all of us.

@stupidfighter ... yeah, in theory, but any player that's dumb enough to give up on a game when they don't have many centers instead of a) camping in a stalemate spot and waiting for a chance to sneak back into their homeland, b) try to survive, or c) throw the game to a friendly power isn't smart enough to know what reliability rating actually is and how to take advantage of it. Besides, it finally adds a penalty (though not strong enough) to people that leave a game when some nice gent like myself takes it over instead of letting them off without punishment at all. It's a good thing.

I have 61 CDs? I find that hard to believe, considering my 17 resigns (most of them from my early days) and the fact that I don't CD that much.

So actually anyone has figured out how reliability rating is calculated? At first sight it seems to me that anyone with a decent record would have a rating above 90%, or even above 95%, while obvious CD-prone accounts have distinctly low rating, so it works nicely as a classifier.

I think there was a competition over taking over CDs several months back. I wasn't around much then so don't know the exact details. Not that they necessary were involved, but I'm guessing they were.

OK I have a theory because my record is definitely wrong.
When we have outages because of technical server issues if you are in a lot of on-going games I think it may be recording you as a CD because you missed those time windows to make your moves when in effect you could not ...... could this be a possibility?

Resigns does not include when you are eliminated or someone else takes over your country. Resigns are only when the game ends with you in CD. So having more CDs than Resigns is quite reasonable.

And having 17 resigns means you're a fucking disrespectful quitter.

Do you get a CD if a mod shuts down a game that you are in?

But it sure would be nice if the site could record CDs for players whose CDs eventually result in the other players canceling the game.

I play mostly live games, so there's a higher amount of CD/resigning in general. Things come up. And in the first year or so I was on the site, I would sign up for games and forget about the site, coming back a few weeks later. Probably where 75% of my CD/resigns come from.
