An atheist can also have a nice Easter. I used to go around and visit girls, water them, talk a little, drink a beer, and collect red eggs from them. It was kind of a yearly nostalgy tour with my ex-girlfriends (I mean the ones with whom I kept a cordial relationship). These days, I water my wife and daughters, and still get my red eggs in return. Do you guys have this kind of tradition where you live?

Hmmm... I thought this tradition is more widely spread. Here is the wiki page I found in English. It is about the Polish tradition, but we do it here in Huingary too.

The idea is that the boys (men) go visit the girls (women) and water them (traditionally, this was really buckets of water), nowadays it is just a few drops of water, or some perfume. The girls then are supposed to give boiled eggs, painted red, in return. Everybody does that here, it is considered rude not to water at least your immediate family, and your colleagues.
