Blankflag was not an innocent party. Not only did he break the rules, he *stated* that it was his intention to break them. He literally advertised his intention to continue spamming the forum, having been warned that further spamming would result in a ban. He then spammed the forum a whole lot more, and was banned. Not banning him at that point would have been grossly offensive.

He was banned for posting a legitimate thread about the Nobel Peace Prize.

That thread was not the main reason for the ban, it was merely the straw that broke the camel's back. It was his 4th or 5th thread in a short space of time, where he had previously been asked to keep his political comments to his "news" thread. If you don't like the fact that he was banned: LEAVE.

Simple misunderstanding here guys. The player wiltarded was banned for making a multi after the completion of the game taos mentioned. The game he was involved with was clean.

So to answer the questions

1: Because he didn't do anything wrong until after that game and connections to a new multi can take a few days to show up.
2: Because the second player wasn't cheating.

Ok, well, since SYnapse has mentioned threadID=1002078, I would like to draw everyone's attention to the fact that contrary to SYnapse's claims in *this* thread, Blankflag was *not* banned because of *that* thread.

He was given a limited-duration silence because of that thread.

His permanent ban came later, because he set up a succession of multi accounts in an attempt to get around his silencing - a clear *further* breach of the rules.
