I was on the ghost ratings website and I stumbled upon this link with photos and a video from the recent face to face tournament some of the American WebDippers had. (http://tournaments.webdiplomacy.net/boston-face-to-face/pictures) It was really nice to see that you had a great time but when I clicked the video what struck me most (bizarrely, I admit) is that, yes, you all have American accents. Of course you would, you're Americans. But it took me by surprise because when I read the writing of various regulars, an American accent is never what I hear the words in. It's always British. The image I had in my mind of abgemacht as the Ian McKellen in X Men/Orwellian 'Big Brother', for example, has been completely dashed by all your friendly American accents. Whenever I'm playing Babak and he's close to solo, I don't imagine a friendly American man, I imagine a Bond villain stroking a cat - again: dashed, dashed, dashed.
Totally random point but I thought I'd share :)
