Not happy with the Mods
I am currently upset with the mods of webdiplomacy. I allowed my younger sister to make an account on webdip with the use of my personal email. Soon after i am recieving emails accusing me of multi accounting when they can clearly see that my account and my sisters share no games what so ever.

@Thucy -- Well, assuming I am not 100% muted....the idea that the radical leftist morons have muted me -- the ones that castigate me without reading what I have written...the one (Jamie) who muted me because he got decimated in an argument with his own words...THAT is not a loss. YOU are intelligent, Thucy....and I suspect acknowledge that I am 1. An occasional belligerent drunk asshole and 2. want to see if I occasionally have something useful to say when not drunk , because you realize that I am not altogether stupid.

Abge...I WILL NOT give yo the section of the constitution. IF you have read it, then YOU prove to me that the Federal government has unlimited ability to spend on social welfare, education programs, etc etc etc....basically, that the Federal Government has *unlimited* power to tax and spend on whatever the hell they deem as nice-to-have....such as YOUR favored program, which could and SHOULD be funded by private interests, which WILL NOT fund them (and therefore NOT require results) as long as the Feds fund them.

What YOU fail to grasp, Abge, is that Federal funding is a HINDERANCE, not a benefit.

As long as I have a politician in my pocket, and I get Federal funding until the cows come home, whether or not I produce a result.

When your funding is proivded by FOR-PROFIT organizations....suddenly you have to produce results that are beneficial.

Interesting thing going on in the world. Government Funded Solar companies are failing like falling dominoes. Why? Because...they HAD Federal subsidies....and when the free cash stopped flowing (i.e. subsidies ended) they couldn't produce a product worth buying. I.E. It costs more to build and install Solar than it saves....it is NOT a value added propositiion, and thus one after another solar companieds are going under with Federal help. The Federal money DISTORTED the market....made "viable" what is naturally unviable.

a German solar company just went bankrupt under similar conditions. THAT is the problelm with federal funding...

But the REAL problem with Federal funding is....IT IS UNCONSTITUOINAL.

Don't ask me to prove a negative, Abge...YOU PROVE THAT IT IS CONSTITUTIONAL.

No, Abge, you have TOLD people to mute me. You don't STAND BY a decision...you have SUGGESTED a course of action. THAT is the hypocrisy...because you SUGGEST that others do what you won't do yourself for the same reason. Sufficed to say, it is YOU who is using the word hypocrite wrong. Not Abge. Because your train of logic isn't logical.

Another argument, KA V. Yourself. Equally foul. Sure. But you explain yourself why the reaction wouldn't be the same. It's in his own way. He is doing it in a different way. The reaction will match the action/mood at the time. Not some objective from on high.

Finally treating people differently is no hypocritical. Hypocrisy would be, saying I will attack vehemently anyone who makes a racist comment, and then making one yourself.

Since Abge has told people repeatedly, and told me directly to me, that I have nothing of use to say, and tells people to mute me, I suggest it IS hypocritical to respond to me if I am SOOOOO erratic, and SOOOOO off-kilter. @ krellin - I can't see your posts, and I could unmute you to read them, but I really just want to say this, so I won't bother. I gather you're objecting to the idea that abgemacht is encouraging others to mute you. Well, frankly, if you want people not to mute you, you maybe you shouldn't be such an asshole all the time. I don't mute people who are occasionally rude, or sometimes say things I find objectionable, but I don't think I recall a single instance where I read a post you wrote that wasn't full of venom, hatred and condescension. Reading your posts makes me angry, and genuinely does make me enjoy this website less. And as to abgemacht being a hypocrite, I don't think so. Obviously he understands that you make me enjoy the forum less, and so encourages me in that case, to mute you so I can enjoy the forum more. However he does not feel the same way, I guess, and finds some value in your posts that is not worth what he would miss by muting you. What he's done here, is set aside his own thoughts and feelings, and considered the situation from my point of view, and come to a reasonable conclusion. That he is capable of this does not make him a hypocrite. I was going to say that it surprises me that you seem to have so much trouble with this concept, but really it doesn't actually surprise me at all. It kind of explains a lot.

The Commerce Clause gives the federal government the right to regulate commerce between states. The Constitution is not strict law like common law - it is a set of guidelines upon which detailed laws are written to uphold the constitution and protect the rights of citizens. The constitution has allowed the federal government the right, and how it utilizes it is not anything about constitutionality but how "commerce" is defined.

Please keep in mind that this is a site for Diplomacy and we would like to attract new members and keep veterans. Recently, there has been a lot of bile on Forum and we don't like it. So, please, consider what you post. It would be a shame if we started losing members. It would be more of a shame if we were forced to actually moderate the Forum.
