A lot of havoc has been made on the forums recently about Metagamers and the desire to have them all banned. There are a few flaws though that can prevent the banning of said Metagamer and therefore should be fixed.

In the rules of this site it states that Metagaming is only frowned upon and is not illegal or a banning offense. This leads some people to think that it is okay for them to do it. Thus starting various threads about troubling Metagamers and whatnot.

However, if this part of the rule book was changed so that it would say Metagaming will get you banned, there would be less flamming wars on the forums. Doing this would provide no excuse for Metagamers in order to cover their action.

There is one more change that I would like to see on this site. Inside the FAQ it does not say Metagaming includes playing with friends to give youself an unfair advantage. I think it should be changed and include this taking away yet another excuse for Metagamers.

Now onto the consequences of Metagaming. I would just like to remind you all that these are my opinion of what I think would be best.
If you are a first time Metagamer than you should recieve a one week ban.
If you come back and do it again than you should revieve a permanent ban.

I don't know if any of this is possible or if it is an easy task to complete but I think the community would be a better place with this small rule change. Please post and tell me if you agree or disagree. If you disagree please tell me why and what you think should be done instead.
