The game was paused due to a double-account issue. The problem is that Germany (who was heading into CD when the pause was invoked - one turn of no orders and no retreats) hasn't unpaused the game. Can anyone unlock this game to allow it to proceed?
Will one of the mods kindly unpause dr_cox's revenge it has been paused for similar reasons as other games (account bans). Currently there are 5 active players who wish to continue the game, but one player in particular has not logged on for some time.
Game: world conquers of Turkey (http://phpdiplomacy.net/board.php?gameID=10465) needs unpaused. Player was kicked out and then game was paused. Everyone has voted to unpause but one player. That player has not been on in three days. This is a 12 hour phase game. He would have easily been in CD by now.
This game was paused because of a multi account user. Two players have nbot voted to unpause. One has not signed in since the 27th of April and the other hasn't been on since last Wednesday. Is there any way to unpause this please?
It was paused because someone was a multi and we have been waiting on two people to unpause. One hasn't signed in since last Wednesday and the other person has been on since Friday. The game is 24 hour phase, so I figured they would have signed on by now if they cared. Just seeing what you could do. Thanks!
That's an interesting idea. We already have the technical capability... since we have access to IP addresses, and it's just a simple matter of running it through an IP-to-geo locator doohicky. It would definitely have to be optional, and by default off... not everyone wants people to know where they live.
Except that some of our IPs are not locally located. Mine at work come out of Michigan, yet I work in Cinci, OH. We have a T1 connection between PEP's offices in Cinci and Valassis' in Livonia several hundred miles north.
I'm not a fan. Some GeoIP systems get my location ok (right city) but most of them don't. What I would like to add is an activity bar, telling people what times you're, on average, online. I think this would be very useful in working out if a game is suitable for you. It would have 24 little squares in it, and they'd be coloured darker for the hours you're online more.
