Alright, so I got my new PC finally today, and should for technical reasons be a go for Friday night, but I still have a slight family issue going on that might impact it. So I upgrade to 85% chance of being there.

My older son is aware of Diplomacy, enough to know that Italy sucks.
My wife views it as "that game that you play that I want to say is Civilization but isn't."
Which is really kind of a big step for her. She's well known for confusing vaguely similar things (like she always reverses the names of grocery stores..."I'm going to Kroger." "The one on Carpenter?" "No, the one on Michigan." "That's Busch's." "Oh.").
That's not me talking junk, it's a quirk she readily admits to.

But the situation is that a family member in a far-off state is ill, and may die. If the death occurs, I'm going to need to do some consoling. If it doesn't, I'm clear. It's the end of a long sickness and is in no way uber tragic, so I wasn't going to list it out, but there it is.

I really don't wanna be an admin. I've seen the crap they get from the trolls. Also take a look I've been a member on here since 2010... just lurked for a long time.

Being female on games like this can be a bag of mixed blessings. On one hand you find out which people really dislike female gamers right away, on the other you get some slack cut.

Thank you for the compliments btw. I've never seen the point in trolling and I'd rather be honest bout being female cause it always comes out one way or the other.

@CF when I first played in the leagues I noticed that a couple people were being super nice to me because they thought I was a girl :-p

@ava rofl Mostly people have been awesome and not treated me any differently (I don't want special treatment). There's been a troll or 2 that have almost gotten muted by me however.
