Not so long ago certain global intelligence agencies went through a phase where they would send nonsense messages to each other in the hope that rival agencies would waste huge amounts of time trying to decode them. My bet is that this is just a large network of weird markings designed for the sole purpose of wasting the time of US satalite image intel analysts so they don't notice the huge nuclear missile complex hidden in the mountains a few hundred miles to the east.

Argleton (supposedly in the UK) exists online and appears on Google maps, but go there and there is nothing there. These are just more fakes. If you look at the perfect grid drawn on the last one (which is clearly a very topographically challenging area) you'll realize just how fake these are.
