As some of y'all may remember, I made four invitational games around the start of July. By and large the games were full of high-rated players and upcoming stars, and the play was very high class.
And boy, did I get crushed. Defeated in all four games, in fact! You guys took the mantra of the series too literally :(
Congratulations to Cachimbo for soloing as England in the first game. When you consider that he came back from 2 centers to do it, it's a pretty impressive feat.
Congratulations due as well to Crazyter, Draugnar, Mujus and uclabb for their 4-way draw in the second game. Fun fact: England (The Czech), Germany (hellalt) and I (Italy) were seriously considering invading France to start, but eventually decided against it. We were the only three eliminated, and France was the leader at the end with 12 centers. Bad life decision!
No comment on the other two games as they're ongoing. Good luck to those still playing, and thanks for the games, everyone!
