It's easy. He has been eliminated in an anonymous game, but the game isn't over. So the system records the loss but can't accumulate the total because the game, still being played of course, is anonymous and it would give away info. It's a 10 point game (notice the total in play and available is only 90 ). It's a display bug that's annoying, admittedly, but nothing to really worry about. And Figle sees it correctly as he is a mod and has more visibility.

Or figle may be in that game, so he sees it in the list as his account has permission to see that specific game. That would be an interesting side effect of the bug. Check your potential allies/victims and see if the game shows up. Then you'll know if they are in that game or not. Hmmmm...

@hopsy - he has been eliminated from 5. One is anonymous. The more I think about the code I've seen and the logic behind those numbers, the more I'm sure Figle is in that game so it is showing for him and that it is an anonymous game that pukiraj has been eliminated from.

So if you die in an anonymous game it shows up as a loss but doesn't get added to games finished?

Games Finished is tallied from the returned dataset off the SQL query. But you can only see an anonymous game if you are in it when searching by user and they remain anonymous until the game is over. So, the query for games lost says 5 cause he has 5 losees under his ID, but the query for games he is/has played returns four because it doesn't recognize he has been eliminated in that game, just knows he is in it and it is still active, so it won't show you it unless you are also in it. It really makes sense from an IT developers perspective, but needs to be reworked to account for games you were eliminated from and to prevent using the bug to dtermine who is in your anonymous game by whether you see it on their page or not.

I can see it too, and am not in an anon game, so its about being a mod, not about being in the game.

I'm not in the game, but I do see 5. Perhaps its because I'm a mod (doubt it) but I haven't checked the code.

K, that makes sense too and was my initial thought... And rlumley, the 10 would be in an active game he is still in as he would have gotten his points back, which is why his total is 100 .

But you don't get the points back until after the game is over, unless I'm mistaken.

You are mistaken. I recall getting the points back many moons back as soon as I was eliminated.

Possible, but it was only a few months ago that my points and my GR were all down and I saw it happen.

I liked that it shows he has been defeated in 125% of his games. That's an accomplishment I don't think anyone else can equal.

If you think about it, that's the only stat that ever could go over 100% as it is the only one gets accumulated before the game is done...

And I like rlumley's idea of someone being defeated in their first game and it being anonymous putting them at a divison by zero error.
