Hmm, a new website. Looks like WebDip has some competition.

No competition intended, this is basically a site just for me and my friends to play.. but when you have a 10-player variant to test, it can get difficult to find real-life players

I suspect you'll find there's too much empty space. Makes the game a bit less intricate, at least strategically speaking.

It's a North/Central American map with a little bit of South America. The powers are British Columbia, California, Mexico, Florida, Heartland (midwest), New-York, Quebec, Peru, Texas, and Cuba. I've submitted all of my programming changes to kestaskj as patches, but so far he's been to busy to integrate any of them (except for small bugfixes). His midterms are almost over, so expect some great changes here soon :)

Well it's not much of a rumor, a guy (jayp) created a quick variant patch, and that's what I'm using. Kestaskj is working on a variant system from scratch that is supposed to be a lot "cleaner" code-wise (basically making it a lot easier for variant creators to create). It shouldn't be too much of a jump to go from jayp's system to a new system. So once kestaskj gets the variant system coded, there will be a solid 10+ variants already ready for it with slight modifications.

interesting can I download said patch at sourceforge I would like to try to program one of my variants (http://www.worldleadersthegame.com/Forum/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=221) I tried creating 1900 the convential recoding on a notepad way and the map maker program but without success
